Henry S. Kawaguchi 1921 ~ 2008 Shigeru Henry Kawaguchi, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2008 at the age of 87.He was born October 8, 1921 in Hooper, Utah, son of Umakichi Kawaguchi and Ura Furusawa Kawaguchi. Henry married Mary Tayoko Iriye June 14, 1944. She preceded him in death in 1991. He is survived by his three sons Glen Kawa, Bob Kawa, Gene Kawa and one daughter Nancy (Kawa) Yonetani; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Henry farmed in Ogden, Utah and eventually retired as a plumber from Weber State University. He cared very much about his family and enjoyed watching activities that his children and grandchildren participated in. He spent much of his time with friends after retirement and knew the importance of supportive relationships. Funeral services will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, 12:00 noon, Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Prior to the service, a viewing will be held from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. and Monday, December 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary.
