Who needs oxygen anyways? Oxygen is for the plants.

For those of you who haven't heard of the Kawa Lung, here's the story for you. Ever since Kason was 1, he had breathing problems. Back then, he contracted asthma and was hospitalized for 3 days. Kason has had similar problems since then, but hasn't been as severe. It has slowly gone away. Well, a couple of months ago, Kellen contracted RSV. This caused the little fella to have similar breathing problems as his older brother. He weazes, breathes hard and just isn't as happy as normal. We have medication for it and try to treat it, but this last week Kell caught a cold and had breathing problems. When we have gone to the doctor for Kell and Kas, the problems that get them in the hospital is that their oxygen saturation is not good. Most of us will have a O2 saturation of 99-100%. Our kids have been well below. 88-90% is a # that needs to take a kid to the hospital. We took Kell to the doctor and he was fair. Later that night he got worse and so the little guy was taken to the ER by Amy. Kellen was bad enough that he stayed at the hospital for 2 days. We are so glad to have him home now. Here are some pictures of him there. We are just so happy that he is a pleasant kid. Even in a crappy situation, he still seems to smile and laugh it off.
